Dear Friend,

Did you know that 54% of adults in the UK don’t currently have a Will?

Having a Will is an important way to protect the people you care about and allows you to make sure your money, property and possessions go to the people and causes you care about. Without a Will, you're not in control. The government follows rules which are over 100 years old and will not take your wishes into account.

October is Free Wills month. Through our partnership with Farewill, we’re able to offer you a Will worth £100 for free. Farewill are an award winning Will writing service on a mission to change how the world deals with death. Their team of specialists are available seven days a week to help you make your will from the comfort of your home.

Friend, make sure your wishes are followed after you die. Write your free Will today.

You can leave a gift in your Will to Dignity in Dying. Gifts in Wills are vital to the success of the campaign because they allow us to plan the work needed to make law change happen.

Since our campaign began, we’ve turned assisted dying from a fringe political issue to a mainstream compassionate position. We’ve taken cases to court to challenge the current ban on assisted dying, produced groundbreaking research into the cruelty of the current law, and worked with the media to share the stories of dying people and their families.

We can’t do this without you, Friend. Will you write your Will and leave a gift to Dignity in Dying and make history?

Your legacy could be ensuring that dying people have real choice and control over their end of life.

Best wishes,

David Pearce
Director of Fundraising and Marketing
