ICYMI: YOUNGKIN SHATTERS FUNDRAISING RECORDS AHEAD OF VIRGINIA ELECTIONS

Glenn Youngkin continues to shatter fundraising records ahead of Virginia’s
critical General Assembly elections in November.

As Fox News reports
<[link removed]>
, “Youngkin hauled in $4.4 million in 48 hours this week for his Spirit of
Virginia PAC... That brings to $7.45 million the amount of money Youngkin has
raked in through the group in the final quarter of fundraising ahead of the
Nov. 7 elections.”

Youngkin’s record fundraising comes as Joe Biden directed the DNC

to pour money into Virginia’s elections, as fears mount on the left about
Youngkin’s popularity in Virginia and commonsense agenda that is delivering for
the Commonwealth.

Joe Biden came into Virginia recently to campaign against Youngkin ahead of
the November elections.

“I want to make it clear the real reason I’m here... I’m going to do
everything I can to raise as much money for you guys — we’ve already done a
fair amount — making sure that you guys win,” Biden said to a room full of
Virginia Democrats.

The strategy from Virginia Democrats to lean on Joe Biden to rescue their
flailing campaign is a head-scratcher. According to recent polling reported by
theWashington Examiner
<[link removed]>
, “Youngkin enjoys a significantly higher approval rating among Virginians than
President Joe Biden.”

Youngkin continues to focus his energy, resources, and time on helping
Virginia Republicans hold the House and flip the Senate next month.

elections.

Youngkin’s massive fundraising haul will ensure Virginia Republicans are able
to compete against money pouring in from Joe Biden and extreme special interest
groups.

THE HILL: Youngkin raises more than $7 million ahead of next month’s Virginia
Legislature elections
<[link removed]>

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s (R) PAC said Wednesday it raised more than $7
million in the third quarter as the governor looks to boost down-ballot
candidates running in the commonwealth’s legislative elections in November.

According to Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC, the governor raised $4.4
million in 48 hours this week. The group said Youngkin also donated $500,000 of
his own money.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin raised $4.4 million in the last 48 hours in the
final stretch before the state's midterm elections as several billionaires
poured money into the race to win a Republican majority in the state Senate and
defend the GOP majority in the House of Delegates.

Still, this has been a record fundraising year for the first-term governor and
Republicans. In the third quarter, Youngkin raised $7.45 million, which his
campaign says is nearly five times more than any previous Virginia governor.
Former Governor Terry McAuliffe raised $1.6 million in 2015 during that midterm
cycle.

WASHINGTON EXAMINER: Youngkin breaks fundraising records for statehouse
Republicans
<[link removed]>

His Spirit of Virginia political action committee reported Tuesday that it has
raised $15.5 million this year to help turn the state Senate Republican and
keep the House in GOP hands.

In doing so, the Republican broke records set by former Democratic Gov. Terry
McAuliffe, whom Youngkin defeated in 2021. McAuliffe was often heralded as a
national fundraising champion who led the money teams for former President Bill
Clinton and former 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Youngkin’s numbers blew McAuliffe’s records away. His PAC reported:

In the third quarter, Youngkin raised $7.45 million, nearly five times the
quarterly record set by McAuliffe, who raised $1.55 million in the fourth
quarter of 2015.

Since Sept. 1, Youngkin has raised more than $5 million. That one-month haul
beat McAuliffe’s single-year fundraising record of $4.77 million in 2015.

Over two days this week, he raised $4.4 million, more than the combined total
of the previous quarterly fundraising records set by Gov. Ralph Northam,
McAuliffe, and Bob McDonnell.
