I had to share my thoughts.
Earlier this week I spoke at my local school board to share my thoughts on the new so-called "Community Schools" initiative.
I was only permitted to speak for 60 seconds - there were a LOT of us there - but I wanted to share with you the video of what I told the school board. ([link removed])

This initiative is just another attempt by Left-wing consultants to spend tens of thousands in taxpayer money on Big Government programs that do absolutely nothing to actually educate children.

Why are school boards more concerned these days with using our already under-performing schools for ideological experiments than with improving students' proficiency in reading, writing, math, and science?
It was inspiring to see so many concerned parents at the school board meeting fighting for their kids' future.
The Democrats may demonize them ... but I'm running for Congress to fight for them. ([link removed])
I want to go to Washington to fight for parents rights in schools...
Oppose distracting political agendas that have no place in the classroom...
And ensure Orange County schools remain focused on the one thing they're expected to do: educate students.
