When fossil fuel corporations shoot high-pressure water into the ground, it cracks the Earth , destabilizes the ground , and sometimes triggers earthquakes. The wastewater from fracking can contain RADIOACTIVE WASTE and contaminate local drinking water. We must protect our precious public lands
from fracking disasters, Friend!
The Department of Interior has posted yet another lease sale, this time in
Wyoming. But the good news is that comments from people like you have already
pushed the DOI to defer selling parcels that contained Greater sage-grouse
habitat. The DOI is listening to comments – help us submit even more and CANCEL this
lease sale for good! Please, Friend, take just 30 seconds to tell the DOI to
PROTECT our public lands in Wyoming from greedy polluters!

[[link removed]]I’m sure you’ve noticed the devastating increase in floods, fires, and storms
across the world this past summer. Maybe you even lived in one of the places
where we couldn’t go outside because of wildfire smoke. The climate crisis is
being accelerated by burning fossil fuels – fracking on our public lands will make that problem even worse.
Marine heatwaves are KILLING OFF coral, fish, and other precious marine animals.
Horrifying floods are washing away people’s homes, their entire livelihoods. Nearly a quarter of U.S. emissions comes from fossil fuel extraction on public
lands. It’s up to us to end it – one lease sale at a time.
Stop greedy companies from bringing fossil fuels from our public lands. Send
your message to the DOI by 11:59pm TONIGHT!
