It's Family Fast Day!
Dear John,
Family Fast Day is a day for praying and sharing, giving the cost of a meal so another family can get expert help when they need it most.
Today, as you have a simple meal – whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner – I hope you feel full of warmth and love. Because by fasting today you are joining with people facing the most difficult challenges imaginable, as part of one global family.
Women like Meera, who gave birth on the same night floods destroyed her home in Pakistan. When her children got sick in the aftermath of the disaster, Meera hurried to bring them to a CAFOD-funded mobile health clinic and got them the life-saving medicines and treatment they needed. With disasters like these happening even more often, your donations are needed now more than ever.
