The PA is in need of volunteers to stand at the polls and
keep voters informed on Primary Election Day (Tuesday, October 10)! You
can sign up for a shift here.
Early voting for the 2023 municipal primary continues through
tomorrow, Saturday, October 7. If you haven't already voted, take the
PA PAC's "green ballot" (and a friend!) with you to the polls and vote
early for this progressive slate at any of the voting locations
below:
Durham County Main Library – Roxboro St. North Regional Library
– Milton Rd. East Regional Library – Lick Creek Lane South
Regional Library – S. Alston Ave. NCCU Turner Law Building – Nelson
St.
For more detailed information about early voting hours, and to find
your October 10 Election Day Polling Place, visit the Durham
County Board of Elections website. Please note that an ID is
now required to vote in NC.
In addition to voting, there are a few other important ways
to support our candidates this cycle:
VOLUNTEER
We always need support from volunteers to cover shifts at the
polls. If you can take one (or more!) poll worker shifts, click
this link and you'll be directed to a form to sign up to
volunteer.
After you sign up, you'll hear from a PA PAC coordinator with more
instructions and to select your shift.
JOIN US ON ELECTION NIGHT
Along with our endorsed candidates, we are excited to host an
Election Night party to watch the primary election returns
roll in at Accordion Club (316 W Geer St, Durham, 27701) on
Tuesday, October 10. We'll meet up at Accordion Club after polls close
at 7:30 p.m.
There is a parking lot as well as plentiful street parking within a
few blocks of the venue. There is also a parking deck located on West
Corporation Street between Foster Street and Rigsbee Avenue.
We look forward to seeing you there!
DONATE
Hiring experienced poll workers, sending mail to voters, and
printing our famous green ballot helps your PA PAC slate win. We are
getting so close to our goal of raising around $4,000 to fully cover
our costs this cycle. Please
help us reach our goal by making a donation of any amount to support
these critical campaign expenses!
Durham voters need to hear about the progressive candidates
endorsed by the members of the People's Alliance PAC. Thank you for
helping to get the word out about the municipal primary!
Sincerely,
People's Alliance PAC http://www.peoplesalliancepac.org
