When I left the UN, I wanted to challenge myself and become a runner. What I knew right away was that training for a half-marathon wouldn’t happen overnight. It would take a lot of time to build up more momentum and strength each and every day. It would take dedication, time, and hard work.
But, I was determined. So I laced up my shoes, put my music on, put one foot in front of the other, and started my journey.
In 2021, I finished my first half-marathon—something I never thought I could do.
Running a half-marathon was a huge challenge. But, I worked hard, I pushed myself, and it paid off.
The same goes for other races I’ve run throughout my lifetime.
Running my first race for state legislature, and then for governor were huge challenges. I had many people underestimate me, but I put in the time and the hard work, and WON.
Now, I’m running my most important and most challenging race yet – the race for President.
Running for president is NOT an easy undertaking, but I know a thing or two about hard work, determination, and winning. And most importantly, I know that fighting for America is always worth it!
Since I launched my campaign, I’ve held over 125 events, met with thousands of voters, shared my vision for our future across the country, won the first two debates, and gained a SURGE of momentum in the polls!
It’s clear – our hard work is paying off and our vision for the future is resonating with voters across America. But, we can’t stop there.
With just 102 days until the first votes take place, we’ve got to keep our heads down and amplify our message even further, host more events, and gain even more momentum in order to win.
Running for President is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes hard work, endurance, and determination each step of the way.
My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, stood up for Israel even when others refused, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
