To be frank, folks, we fell short of our fundraising targets at the end of the quarter. I get it — slow fundraising periods happen. Fewer people have been reading our emails lately, and our average donation has dipped a bit as a result. The fact that you’re here reading this email means a lot to my campaign team. I’m not going to sound the alarm or pretend the sky is falling. That’s not how this campaign works. I know we can pick up our momentum for the months ahead if this team comes together. And one important way of doing that is by bringing in more monthly recurring donations. The more recurring donations folks like you give, the less we have to worry about how many donations we’re raising on a day-to-day basis. Monthly recurring donations help us budget ahead for important work, like supporting strong local candidates and spreading the word about the progress our Democratic Senate Majority is making.
