Dear partner in democracy,

After the dysfunction that took place under the leadership of House Republicans earlier this week, we shouldn’t be celebrating; we should be organizing. The failings in the House this Congress directly result from last November’s election and the extremists that the National Republican Campaign Committee helped elect into office. We can’t let that happen again.

While some may feel more discouraged by our government than ever, and Republicans continue to pass the blame onto Democrats, I feel more compelled to serve than ever. It’s never been more apparent that we need strong and principled leaders who can bring new ideas and commit to making the People’s House work for them.

That’s why I’m starting a leadership PAC, A Pleasant Peninsula PAC, to help me continue my work and show my fellow Democrats that I’m committed to leading in Congress as we take back the majority.

We’re padding our coffers ahead of 2024 to help protect some of the most vulnerable Democrats nationwide and show that West Michigan has their backs. If you support helping empower a strong line of Democratic leaders committed to fighting off extremism, working across the aisle, and building a brighter future for the next generation, please consider a founding contribution today.
