Let’s face it: moms get abortions. The CDC says that 6 in 10 women who have abortions are mothers, and half of them already have two or more children. [1] Shocked? Let’s talk about it!

Next week on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, at 8:30 pm ET / 5:30 pm PT,  we’ll dive deep into this statistic and everything related to moms, abortions, and reproductive justice during our #KeepMarching online call. Can you come?

I, Diarra Diouf, MomsRising’s Campaign Director of Reproductive Justice, will lead a conversation with Angela Cobian, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Director of Coalition Advocacy, on the importance of comprehensive reproductive health education for moms, families, and communities. Together, we’ll lay out the challenges moms face in accessing reproductive care including the Supreme Court striking down Roe v Wade and the key components of abortion care and reproductive health in the U.S. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask Angela questions. You’ll leave with a better understanding of what is going on and how you can take action.
