“Ray of sunshine” and “Rick Wilson” are words rarely in the same sentence, but here we are, folks. McCarthy’s ritual flensing is like early Christmas in my house. 

I mean really, what’d Kevin expect when he had to grind out 16 votes just to get his grimy hands on the gavel? Gaetz had him on a three-inch leash all year. Here’s the headline media outlets need to run: 

Kevin’s utter humiliation is really just the start of the good news. This has real implications for the pro-democracy movement. 

House GOP fundraising will plummet. 

Kevin has always been equipped to wear what I call "normie drag." He could pretend in boardrooms, greenrooms, and wealthy donors' homes that he was moderating the worst impulses of MAGA.

In 2022, he told friends of ours at a Texas fundraiser that he needed their help to get more non-MAGA Republicans elected. As such, he was able to raise enormous sums of money. Staggeringly effective as a fundraiser, but staggeringly terrible at controlling the House.

Whoever replaces him has a much higher fundraising hill to climb. I feel bad for the leopards. The faces have to taste awful. But I digress. 

McCarthy's faceplant means our pro-democracy movement has a huge window of opportunity. Can you help us capitalize on it? 

Impeachment is now even more of a failure

Remember when the media spent three minutes freaking out about the implications of the nonsensical Biden impeachment?

I expected it to be bad, but between Jim Jordan and Jim Comer, they barely packed enough substance in their low-wattage festivities to even get Fox News to cover it. Now, with the McCarthy ouster and literally countless speaker votes ahead of us, expect this to get even further buried in the news cycle. 

My condolences to CatTurd and the reply guys. Hunter’s laptop will forever remain your White Whale. 

MAGA still failed to shut down the government and Democrats look great

The MAGA suicide squad in the House didn’t get their chaos party, and the government is still running. That’s a win for every American right there. 

The bonus here is that Democrats are coming out of this looking like a normal, organized party. That’s because they are. And you better believe we’re going to keep contrasting that with what we’re seeing on the other side. 

So, McCarthy has been fully exorcized from the gavel and MAGA has been even further outed as the nihilistic neanderthals they are. I count that as one of the biggest wins of the year. 

Today, can you help us capitalize on it? The ad team has been on a hot streak recently, and we’ve got even better stuff coming as we gear up for the final showdown against Trump.
