We’re guessing your inbox was flooded last week with a whole bunch of fundraising emails talking about the “end of the fiscal quarter” — even more intense than the usual “end of month” emails campaigns and groups send out.

We get these emails, too. And while they can be annoying, there is truth to them. At the end of every quarter, our fundraising numbers ARE made public, so we want to make sure we have a good showing. In order to do that, we MUST meet our fundraising goals each month.

But we try to be upfront with you, team. So instead of hiding the ball and sending a whole bunch of urgent messages at the end of the month with no context, we’re telling you our October goal at the beginning of the month.

That’s right. This month, we have a goal of raising $15,000 by October 31st.
