One of our opponents attended a Kansans For Life Political Action Committee event and confirmed any doubts about which way they’d vote on abortion legislation if elected—they made it clear that they’refirmlyin the anti-choice camp.
It’s imperative that we defeat our anti-choice opponents next year. KS-03 deserves a leader that aligns with their values and defends their freedoms.
In other words, we need to keep battle-tested, pro-choice leaders like Sharice in Congress to fight back against the many calls National Republicans have made for a nationwide abortion ban.
We said as soon as our opponents got in that any candidate who can’t definitely say they voted against Kansas’s anti-choice ballot measure was in favor of it—making them dangerously out of step with working Kansans and the majority of Kansas’ Third.
Now one of them has firmly confirmed it to be the case.
Anti-choice extremists will stop at nothing to strip us of our freedoms, which is why we can't back down for even a second.
