If you've ever emailed [email protected], we've probably chatted at some point! I'm Obed, and in my four years at Action Network, I've rarely been the one to email you first — that's changing today! I'll be sending you updates periodically about the various ways we're working to ensure great deliverability and resources you can use to learn more.

Action Network is continuously working to help partners like you improve your email deliverability and reach your engagement goals. We’re constantly working to stay on top of the ways email providers are changing how they decide what ends up in the inbox versus the spam folder. Our number one goal is helping you get your emails into your supporters’ inboxes.

This is why we're excited to announce some new Deliverability initiatives we're launching this fall! Read on to learn more.

Deliverability monitoring

Action Network will now actively monitor key stats like open rates, spam complaints, click rates, and more to gauge the health of your email program. If these stats start to dip a bit too low compared to industry standards, we'll reach out to group admins and work with you on ways to improve them. Please reply to me and/or Jason Rosenbaum, Action Network's Director of Technology, when we reach out!

New 105 training on deliverability

Are you confused as to what this email is even about? This training is for you! Learn all about what deliverability means, why it matters for your program, and how deliverability best practices can make your email program more successful. This will occur quarterly throughout the year on the 5th Thursday of the month. To kick off this series, we're hosting our first training a month early on October 18th. Sign up below!

We've organized all our documentation into a comprehensive help center where you can read in-depth about important topics like DKIM, sunsetting, and opting in. You can watch a video tutorial that goes through the most important things to know about deliverability, or use this checklist to make sure your email is targeted as effectively as possible.
