Byrne-JAG Advisory Committee meeting set for Oct. 10
The Department of Commerce Community Safety Unit will convene a Byrne-JAG Advisory Committee *virtual* meeting next Tuesday, Oct. 10. The meeting is open to the public. All are welcome to attend and listen in; no preregistration is required.

Program information
The Byrne-JAG program is the leading source of federal justice funding to state and local jurisdictions. Commerce is the administering agency for Washington state?s annual allocation of funds. JAG funding is intentionally flexible and can be used to support a range of program areas.
The state?s annual application to the Department of Justice identifies our priority areas based on emerging and ongoing needs in the state?s criminal justice system identified through strategic planning.
