The idea for Breitbart News Network was born when the late Andrew Breitbart and Larry Solov, childhood friends and both Jewish, took a trip to Israel in 2007. Breitbart asked Solov to leave his law practice and start a news company that could “change the world.”
They did just that, from Andrew Breitbart’s basement. Larry helped to shape one of the most effective, disruptive, and diverse news organizations in the country. Breitbart News is one of America’s top news sites, and it has one of the most-engaged Facebook pages worldwide. The company also produces 38 hours of original radio programming per week on SiriusXM radio.
