Patriot,

Tuesday's stunning ouster of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)
will go down in history as a moment when leadership was held
accountable for breaking its promises, according to some
politicos. . .

Others are accusing the Republicans who voted to oust him of
throwing the country into further disarray and into a state of
"chaos."

There is some reason to hope that in the long run, this is a good
thing for the House as an institution and the country as a whole.

In the immediate future, however, nobody knows how this will play
out.

It should be noted that of the 216 votes to remove McCarthy, 208
of them came from Democrats. It's entirely possible the next
Speaker will be no different or worse than the last and will look
to cut deals with the "progressives" at every turn.

Not only that, but while all of this chaos and drama is unfolding
in front of the cameras, behind the scenes there is a lot of
jockeying and horse-trading going on.

And all of the issues we've fought for and against all year are
now flying under the radar as the focus of the 24-hour news cycle
is squarely on Republican "dysfunction."

But because of the politics within the politics, there are many
unknowns right now.

Thanks to so much of your efforts, we were able to force an
amendment in the House National Defense Authorization Act to
repeal the unconstitutional indefinite detention of Americans
without charges.

Will new leadership endorse what you and I demanded?

One of the people running to be the next Speaker, Jim Jordan
(R-OH), said Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance
Act, used to unconstitutionally spy on Americans without a
warrant, would be "dead on arrival" in his committee. Will this
become a subject of negotiations, or will a new committee chair
be more supportive of that unconstitutional law?

The sponsor of legislation to prohibit the Federal Reserve from
issuing a Central Bank Digital Currency, Tom Emmer (R-MN), might
throw his hat in the ring for Majority Leader. Will that take his
focus off that critical issue?

Matt Gaetz (R-FL), who made the move that evicted Kevin McCarthy
from power, cited the completely out-of-control budget deficit
and daunting $33.5 TRILLION national debt, McCarthy's broken
promises on budget reform, and a backroom deal between McCarthy
and President Biden on another round of Ukraine spending as his
motivation for removing the Speaker.

Will the next Speaker follow through on budget reform, or will
the House go back to business as usual?

There could be a major reshuffling of the deck chairs in Congress
in the next week, and whoever heads up committees or moves into
"leadership" can tip the scales in our direction . . . or make it
more of a fight for the issues you and I care about most.

Regardless, you and I need to turn up the heat and make sure
these core issues remain at the forefront of any new leader's
agenda.

On all of these critical issues, the clock is ticking. These all
will be decided before the end of the year . . . and while we're
in the heat of battle, the entire environment just changed
dramatically.

Which is why, Patriot, now we need to be louder than ever on
these issues.

Right now, the House of Representatives is in a holding pattern
until a new Speaker is chosen.

The vote is expected next Wednesday, but that is assuming House
Republicans can all get behind one candidate. . .

After all, it did take FIFTEEN rounds of voting for McCarthy to
become Speaker!

We could see an entirely new leadership structure, or things
might largely pick up where they left off.

We need to be ready for anything, and to keep all of our core
constitutional issues in the fight.

That's why we need your support, TODAY, so we can prepare for the
circus that is coming VERY soon.

This is a turning point when Republicans could choose someone
with a spine to champion our constitutional principles . . . or
they might choose a bitter establishment hack who is all too
ready to cut a deal with the Democrats, and we're then back
further than where we started.

We're putting together a plan right now to target the lawmakers
in critical positions to drive our legislation forward. . .

>>>We need to ensure the final version of the National Defense
Authorization Act ends the indefinite detention of Americans once
and for all.

>>>We need to get the CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act passed.

>>>We need to make sure Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act expires and won't be brought back from the dead.

>>>And we need to make sure Audit the Fed is a priority.

With your support, we'll be able to target the new leadership and
get their phones ringing on all of these issues.

It's only thanks to your support we've gotten these issues as far
as we have.

With a few notable exceptions, most Republicans need to be
dragged, kicking and screaming, to do what their voter base
elected them to do.

Kevin McCarthy's ouster sent a powerful message to House
Republicans that their base is fed up.

But as Speaker Pro Tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) demonstrated
when he slammed down the gavel in a rage yesterday, the
Washington Swamp isn't taking this lightly.

We need to fight harder than ever.

So Patriot, can I count on you to make an emergency contribution
of $50, $100, or $200 to help Campaign for Liberty plan for the
mobilization we know we will need to mount as soon as new
leadership is chosen?

With your help, we will be able to unleash a torrent of phone
calls, emails, postcards, and more to these targeted lawmakers to
make sure our legislation is at the forefront.

Right now, Republicans are doing a lot of jockeying . . . and
perhaps some are even doing some soul-searching.

Republicans will need to do something to restore their voters'
confidence.

That something should be . . .

End unlawful Deep State spying, end indefinite detention of
Americans, stop the Central Bank Digital Currency, stop spending
like drunken Sailors, and Audit the Fed.

With your support, we can make sure these critical issues are on
the minds of new leadership, and this leadership makes these
issues a priority.

To help us turn up the pressure, can you make your most generous
contribution of $100, $200, or more right away to help Campaign
for Liberty prepare to push these issues front-and-center in the
months to come.

If you can afford just $10, $20, or $50 now, your gift along with
other Campaign for Liberty supporters will help us meet our goal
as we head into a very busy final quarter of 2023.

There's a lot on the line in the next few months.

You and I must continue to fight for liberty. Please make your
largest possible donation now so we can take on the statists and
crony capitalists in Congress who want to stay the course.

Now is the time for change!

John McCardell
Executive Director
Campaign for Liberty

P.S. This is a critical moment. The House of Representatives is
frozen until it chooses its next Speaker, and a CBDC ban,
Indefinite Detention of Americans, out-of-control spending, and
ending Section 702 of FISA ALL hang in the balance.

We need to be ready to adjust our plans quickly so we can flood
the new leadership with calls to action.

Your contribution today, of $100, $200, $500 or more, or whatever
you can afford will help us mobilize that pressure the moment it
is needed.
