Drunk Driver Allegedly Kills SMU Student in Crash
[link removed]
mu-student-in-crash/ A Dallas woman stands accused of intoxication
manslaughter after a vehicle collision killed a 19-year-old student
from Southern Methodist University. The suspect allegedly ran a red
light before colliding with the other vehicle, and afterward, admitted
to having a margarita when an officer accused her of smelling like
alcohol. A passenger in her car was also injured in the crash.
We talk
about crime a lot and the effects of the Left’s anti-police movement,
but did you know that tragedies like this are also directly attributed
to the same failed ideology.

0find%20that%20the%20rate,CI%3A%20140%2C688%2D243%2C338). Studies show
that since the Black Lives Matter race riots of 2020 traffic stops have
decreased drastically. Rather than risk an incident that will place
officers at the hands of Left-wing, Soros-funded District Attorneys
like John Creuzot, they are simply conducting fewer stops. Reckless
drivers like this woman feel emboldened with less traffic policing, and
the result is an increase in car accidents and roadway fatalities.
This young woman’s death did not have to happen. If we had a fully
staffed police force and a District Attorney who properly prosecuted
criminals, this drunk driver may have thought twice about getting
behind the wheel. We believe Dallas residents deserve to live in
safety. Contact your council member and tell them to support sensible
policing and contact D.A. Creuzot to tell him to fully prosecute drunk
drivers!

hefts-spike-under-blackmon/ Dallas’s Mayor Eric Johnson has announced
that he is switching to the Republican Party. Johnson cites
disillusionment with Democrat policies that have “exacerbated crime and
homelessness” across the country! The mayor says the future of
America’s cities depends on “law and order and fiscal conservatism.”
Contact Mayor Johnson to show your appreciation for his commitment to
Dallas’s safety!

hefts-spike-under-blackmon/ Councilwoman Paula Blackmon has been named
Dallas’s September “Crime Boss” by The Dallas Express. Blackmon’s
District 9 has seen a year-over-year crime score increase of 40%!
Blackmon's nomination comes after a shocking spike in the following
four crime categories: motor vehicle thefts, drug offenses, vandalism,
and robbery! Join KDS and contact Councilwoman Blackmon's office to ask
what she is doing to combat crime in her district!

Police
Response Times Keep Increasing Amid Staff Shortage
DPD remains
severely understaffed, and the residents of Dallas are paying the
price. It takes police more than 11 minutes to respond to top priority
911 calls, and that jumps up to nearly 14 minutes for priority calls
from South Dallas! The solution to this crisis is not a mystery: Hire
more cops and the response times go down!

Police Find 2 Men Tied Up, One
Dead in South Dallas
Police found an injured woman looking for help.
She then led them to two men who had been tied up with one of them
having been shot. With each passing day, Dallas sounds more like a city
in a third-world country. Businesses won’t stay in Dallas when living
conditions resemble those of a failed state! Criminals are thriving
here, and businesses will soon flee.

Man Faces Murder Charge for Setting Woman on Fire
Many domestic disputes in Dallas turn deadly, but this one may be the
worst. The kind of person who would set a woman on fire over an
argument is obviously sick in the head. So, what kind of message does
he receive when our D.A. refuses to seek the death penalty for serial
killers? Will justice be done, or will D.A. Creuzot give this psycho a
light punishment as well?

 Tracking Illegal Camps:
[link removed]
Each week the KDS team drives its planned route through Dallas
photo-documenting and cataloguing illegal encampments to inform the
city of these locations. Our team livestreams these activities giving
the community a first-hand look at the vagrancy crisis in Dallas.

In
this episode, we find dozens of vagrants loitering outside City Hall.

 District 7 Councilman
Adam Bazaldua's
"Caution Camp"
We named this camp in Adam Bazaldua’s
District 7 “Caution Camp.” Caution tape surrounds the site of this
vagrant camp, but that doesn’t deter them! And if signs and barriers
aren't enough, vagrants in Dallas disregard the law. Perhaps the
caution tape is there to warn about the danger of vagrancy…. Caution:
vagrancy will destroy every city that allows it to take root!
 District 6 Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Study Camp"
This camp in
Omar Narvaez’s District 6 has been dubbed “Study Camp.” It is not clear
what this vagrant is studying, but he appears to be deep in thought
while he reads this booklet… on top of a pile of trash. Many people
think vagrants are just down on their luck, but would you live in filth
like this if you just had a stroke of bad luck?
 District 6
Councilman Omar Narvaez's
"Babel Camp"
This camp in Omar Narvaez’s
District 6 has earned the title “Babel Camp.” This scene is like a
twisted retelling of the famous bible story. This tower of trash grows
taller and taller with each passing week, and the vagrant pictured can
usually be found passed out beside it or babbling incoherently at
nothing. Stories like this are bleak; make vagrants get the help they
need and deserve!

Mission Statement:
Keep Dallas Safe exists to address crime and
homelessness in Dallas with the goal of transforming Dallas into the
safest large city in Texas for residents and businesses. We aim to have
a City Council that prioritizes crime rate which directly determines
the quality of life in Dallas. We do this by fighting against the
"defund the police" movement, holding accountable our city leaders'
efforts towards lowering district crime rates, and highlighting our
city's homelessness problems by pushing for enforcement of the
prohibition of urban camping.
