Hey John,
You've heard of our Condom Collective program where students across the country get 500 condoms to give out to their peers? Well, we are thrilled to be coming to you today with a similar program for emergency contraception (EC)!
It's called the EC Access Network, and applications are open now! This program is a partnership with Emergency Contraception for Every Campus (EC4EC), a project of the American Society for Emergency Contraception. EC4EC has pioneered peer-to-peer EC distribution on college campuses for years, and we’re thrilled they are working with us to bring their groundbreaking program to our large network of youth activists.
College students who apply by October 15th (yes, that's coming soon!) will have a shot at being one of 500 students we select to receive:
- Tons of EC tablets to distribute to your fellow students (whether they need them now or in the future)
- Training on EC distribution from the experts at EC4EC
- Opportunities to join further training from Advocates for Youth in how to launch and win campaigns for greater sexual health and reproductive rights on campus
Six different EC brands have donated over 130,000 EC pills to this effort - so yeah, we've got a lot to give out! If you're not a college student, you can still spread the word by sharing our Instagram post here. Students can be any age or gender, attend a community college, university, or technical/vocational school, and it doesn't matter whether they're an experienced activist or brand new to this work.
That October 15th deadline will be here before you know it, but it only takes 5 minutes to fill out. So go ahead and apply at this link today.
Thanks so much,
Geoff Corey

P.S. - Not a college student? Can you share the application with 3 students you know?
