While the GOP’s priorities might seem clear as mud, they’re actually crystal clear (and they’re disastrous).
Their main objectives: tax cuts for their wealthy donors, a national abortion ban, and no more funding for the programs everyday Georgians rely on.
This devastating agenda was on full display this weekend when the GOP tried to pass a funding bill that would have slashed funding by 30% for medical research for cancer, nutrition aid for pregnant mothers, housing subsidies for the poor, the EPA, NASA, DOJ and law enforcement, toxic waste cleanup, and employment training for disadvantaged communities.
Eight Georgia Republicans voted for that bill, and the ninth didn’t vote for it because it didn’t go far enough.
John, we need to flip control of Congress. Rather than fund programs that hardworking Georgians rely on, Republicans in Congress put their extreme agenda first and are unable to work with their colleagues for the good of the country. Will you pitch in $5, $10, or whatever you can afford to help us flip control of Congress and help us return the House to a functioning, collaborative governmental body?

If we can flip just one seat in 2024, we can help Democrats return sanity and bipartisanship to Congress.
