NCEIT Lobbying Efforts in the North Carolina General Assembly This Week. **Override Votes of Governor's Veto of S747 (Omnibus Elections Bill) & S749 (No Partisan Advantage in Elections) are expected nest Tuesday, October 10th in both chambers. Citizen calls encouraging support for the overrides should be made on Wednesday and Thursday this week. **House passed the PCS to H770 (Cast Vote Record Bill) on 9/19 and sent to Senate on 9/20. It sits in Senate Rules Committee with no action scheduled. **House & Senate both have reconvened, but little to be accomplkished this week. **Senate Redistricting & Elections Committee met last week at three locations for public inputs - Sept 25, 26, & 27 to hear public inputs on redistricting.
