America is worth fighting for.
Dear Fellow Conservative,
As many of you know, in January, I worked alongside 19 of my House Colleagues to demand key institutional changes in the House of Representatives.
We secured important concessions during that debate, delivering conservative policy victories and a more deliberative legislative process over the past nine months. That work included H.R. 2, the strongest border security legislation in modern history.
There are no moral victories in the fight for freedom. Many of the bills we passed remain stalled in the Senate, and the White House continues to undermine American strength and security at home and abroad.
Our fiscal house is in ruin. Our Southern Border is wide open and lawless. Our enemies gain strength abroad while we tinker around funding proxy wars.
For weeks I have been hyper focused on using this moment - with Democrats on their heels - to drive forward border security and spending cuts as non-negotiables during appropriations.
The House must wield the power of the purse to extract change for the American people. That remains my focus – regardless of who is Speaker of the House.
We mustn’t fund a DHS and DOJ at war with the people of Texas without significant policy changes, and we mustn’t continue to fund a proxy war – at all, or certainly without transparency, accountability, and without dealing with America’s crises first.
The swamp and news coverage of it are based heavily on palace intrigue and clicks. I will remain focused on policy victories and cutting spending. We must. And our call to live free and preserve this Republic does not change based on Republican party leadership or titles. Leadership is an action.
I hope we quickly rally behind a Speaker who can define the fight and lead the hard-fought battles to change Washington: cutting spending, securing the border, defunding weaponized government, and holding the Biden Administration accountable.

America is worth fighting for. The work continues.
