I am happy to announce that City Controller Kenneth Mejia has officially endorsed my campaign for Congress in CA-34!

City Controller Mejia is the first Asian American elected to citywide office in Los Angeles and the first Filipino elected official. Controller Mejia has proven to be a dedicated community activist, pledging to audit the cost of homeless encampment sweeps and aiming to decriminalize homelessness and hold the police and other city departments accountable. A champion for climate justice, he has promised to audit how much the city pays oil and gas companies for power. 

Fighting for these critical movements is essential not only to the tenets of my campaign but for everyone who calls LA home. Controller Mejia’s trust and support means the world to me and I am so excited to get to work and make a positive difference in our city together!

Let’s keep the ball rolling! We’re about to start hitting the streets to knock on doors and set up tables to speak with voters about the issues that matter to them most.
