John – This week’s debacle in Congress shows why we need a new majority in the House and new leadership in our country. I’m running for Congress to protect democracy, address the climate crisis, and create an economy that works for everyone. To do all that, I need to beat radical right-winger David Schweikert, which is why this news is such a big deal.
The National Journal just ranked David Schweikert as one of the most vulnerable members of Congress! Just take a look at what they said: "Schweikert is Democrats’ white whale out West. They have targeted him in several recent cycles to no avail, but a perfect storm might be brewing to finally knock him off. Last year’s redraw left Schweikert in a district Biden carried by 2 points, and the Phoenix suburbs he represents are rapidly getting more blue."
We have to be ready to capitalize on this news to keep up our campaign’s momentum, which is why I’m reaching out. We can flip this seat, send Schweikert packing, and bring much-needed new leadership, but I need your help to do it.
