TONIGHT: My Town Hall in St. Charles

As our nation faces a range of challenges and questions, including as to who will next serve as the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, I want to invite you to join me for my town hall at the St. Charles Municipal Building at 2 E. My Bill to Rename the St. Charles Post Office in Honor of Veterans of the Vietnam War

On Monday, the U.S. House of Representatives voted unanimously to pass my legislation to rename the St. Charles East Side Station Post Office to the Veterans of the Vietnam War Memorial Post Office. I am grateful that so many of my colleagues from both sides of the aisle came together to move beyond party to take this action in an era so divided by partisanship. I hope the Senate will soon approve this legislation so that the President may sign it into law, and members of our community visiting the post office in the years to come will be reminded of the sacrifices of the American veterans who served in the Vietnam War.

Our Next Pingree Grove Office Hours: Tuesday, November 7th: 12:00pm – 4:00pm at the Pingree Grove Municipal Center at 555 Reinking Rd, Pingree Grove, IL RSVP HERE.

We will continue to hold additional office hours in Pingree Grove on the first Tuesday of each month, next on December 5^th.

Our Next Des Plaines Office Hours: Tuesday, October 10^th: 9:30am – 11:30am in the Des Plaines Public Library at 1501 Ellinwood St, Des Plaines, IL RSVP HERE.

We will continue to hold additional office hours in Des Plaines on the second Tuesday of every other month: December 12^th.

Our Next Wood Dale Office Hours: Tuesday, October 17^th: 10:00am – 1:00pm in the Wood Dale Public Library at 520 N Wood Dale Rd, Wood Dale, IL RSVP HERE.

We will continue to hold additional office hours in Wood Dale on the third Tuesday of each month: November 21^st and December 19^th.
