Dear Friend, I’m thrilled to share with you that our #VisitAPrison campaign has passed a huge milestone: we’ve now logged over 200 visits from lawmakers around the country!
FAMM launched #VisitAPrison in 2022 as part of our goal to improve prison conditions. Prison conditions are the worst they have ever been. Lawmakers have the power to improve things, but lawmakers don’t know if they don’t go.
Now, thanks to our efforts—and yours!—at least 200 more lawmakers have made the visit and gained a better understanding of what incarcerated citizens face.
