Happy World Teachers’ Day, everyone.

My mother was a public school teacher in Greenbelt – so I know firsthand how hard teachers work for their students. I’m also grateful for the positive impact teachers have had on me throughout my years in education.

Teachers are critical to the success of our country. When they're given the resources they need to succeed, our students perform better in the classroom. It’s a positive cycle that uplifts our younger generation.

Maryland teachers are absolute rockstars and I’m so proud of the work they are doing to support our students.
