John – Team Allred spent a lot of time on the road this summer, covering thousands of miles as we traveled across Texas to meet with voters. Colin spoke in union halls, small businesses, local restaurants, and more ... and some of our favorite memories were what we started calling "parking lot moments."

Today, we're sharing a few favorites with you – from parking lots to campaign events – starting with this sweet moment with a future voter. ⬇️

Many of these were the unplanned, spontaneous road trip adventures that always crop up on a long drive – like a visit to the Czech Stop, which is a must if you're driving on I-35 from Dallas to Austin. Do not miss the delicious kolaches – and it turns out the parking lot is a nice place to make a furry friend. 

Wherever we were, from Waco to Brownsville to Arlington, we found Texans were excited to meet Colin, hear his story, and share their own experiences. And we met a lot of folks who are just as fired up as we are to defeat Ted Cruz! We've never been more convinced that we can win this thing, IF we can keep connecting with voters across the state.

To keep our incredible momentum going, we've got to keep meeting with voters in every corner of the state all the way through Election Day – but Texas is massive, and it's going to take significant resources to keep it up.
