** Action
------------------------------------------------------------
* SwingLeft of North Central New Jersey is having a March Madness Letter Writing Open House event on March 8th in Cranford! Join them to send out a packet of 20 Get Out The Vote (GOTV) letters to Pennsylvania voters. While they normally ask volunteers to contribute money for the packets, this event will be FREE! They'll always happily accept donations, but if you can't donate anything but your time and effort, this is definitely the event for you. For more information and an email address for questions, check out their Event listing here ([link removed]) .

** Good News in New Jersey
------------------------------------------------------------
* This week Governor Murphy announced his new state budget and there's a lot of good news to be found - things like helping to fight the ([link removed]) ‘sabotage’ against the ACA ([link removed]) by the current federal administration, two years of free college at state universities ([link removed]) for all lower income families (in addition to the free Community College plan for lower income families), and another attempt at the Millionaire's Tax ([link removed]) , which Senate President
Steve Sweeney might finally be willing to back.
Don't forget school aid, funding the state pension, helping the transit system and more! Read more here ([link removed]) , along with a link to a video if you want to watch the address.
