We need you to understand what’s happening in Congress right now:

FIRST: Extreme Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene threatened to SHUTDOWN the government if Kevin McCarthy didn't launch a sham impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

THEN: McCarthy CAVED to their demands, but MAGA Extremists didn’t stop there. The Washington Post reports that far-right Republicans fought for cuts to food assistance for mothers and children, and cuts for home heating aid with colder weather around the corner.

They even wanted 30% CUTS to the Social Security Administration.

In the face of unchecked MAGA Extremism, Democrats fought for the people and averted crisis. House Democrats showed leadership when McCarthy couldn't, but our work is far from finished.

SO NOW: We launched a plan to make the miserable schemes of the MAGA Majority completely backfire. If we can marshal a resounding wave of opposition -- 23,355 updated Democratic Memberships before midnight -- we can prove to McCarthy and his MAGA Republicans that their days in power are numbered. We KNOW we can win back the House and kick Republicans out of power for years to come, but only if House Democrats have the resources required to defeat them.
