Ground Game Texas

John,

A key part of supporting local movements for political change is developing a narrative for why action is needed. That’s why Ground Game is investing in public education focused on the need for criminal justice reform.

We recently published a Lubbock report showing how city enforcement of marijuana offenses disproportionately impacts Black, Latino, and young residents of the community. The report received great coverage in local media — including by NPR!

Support our public education reports in West Texas and across the state with a contribution of $25 or more today!

The NPR coverage gave a great boost to our local partner, Lubbock Compact, as they gather petition signatures in support of marijuana decriminalization. The coverage also prompted the Texas Tribune to write a major article about the Lubbock campaign, generating even more local engagement.

Providing communications and media support is just one more way that Ground Game is building organizing infrastructure across Texas. Consider supporting our work today!

With love and respect,
