John,

Mondays are good during 40 Days for Life!

Every Monday we'll update the number of confirmed babies saved from abortion as the answer to YOUR prayers.

After just five days of peaceful vigil, we already know of 35 babies saved!

Savannah is a new vigil leader in Richmond, Virginia--and she was blessed with a saved baby on the first day of her first campaign!

After receiving a positive pregnancy test at Planned Parenthood, a woman approached the sidewalk volunteers. She said she was struggling financially, had no insurance, and her boyfriend was urging her to have an abortion.

"But in spite of all that, she decided to dump the boyfriend instead of her baby!" Savannah said.

Vigil participants rejoiced that they were able to redirect this expectant mother to the resources she needed to choose life.

St. Paul, Minnesota

As dozens of prayer warriors gathered to open St. Paul's Lenten 40 Days for Life campaign, sidewalk counselors offered support to a woman arriving at one of America's largest Planned Parenthood facilities.

As the group prayer wound down, the woman left the abortion facility, stopping for a second encounter with the sidewalk counselors.

"She explained that she had another child and believed she was strong enough to keep this second baby," wrote Brian. "She was going to a nearby pregnancy help clinic at the sidewalk counselor’s recommendation."

Grand Rapids, Michigan

A vigil participant in Grand Rapids reached out to a young woman who appeared to hesitate as she arrived at the abortion center.

The mom lingered in her car for a little while. Then, instead of entering the abortion facility, she approached the sidewalk counselor.

"A few moments later, she hopped back into her car," wrote the Grand Rapids team. "As she left the abortion facility, she told the woman praying that she had changed her mind about the abortion!"

Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the well. Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.

—Ecclesiastes 12:6-7

O God, we too often try to live in ways that ignore our coming death. We forget that our days are numbered by You, that at the end of our days your judgment awaits, that You are the Lord of our destiny. Help us to repent daily, and then to live each day in joyful obedience. Lead us to live in the light and promise of eternity. Prepare us to live fully and sacrificially.
