Today, working people are taking another stand against corporate greed and demanding the fair wages that they deserve. Across the country, medical professionals are striking against Kaiser Permanente and demanding to be paid their share of the billions of dollars that their employer profits every year.
Far too many Democrats and Republicans alike are happy to say that they support the middle class and working people but refuse to stand up and make sure that corporations treat their employees with the respect and dignity that they deserve.

Over 90% of Democrats agree that we need to get corporate money out of politics, and that's why we're running a campaign without any corporate PAC money. That might seem intuitive, but my opponent has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign funding from other corporate PACs who profit billions while putting the squeeze on their workers.
My first job was a union job, and standing up for working people isn't a political calculation for me–it's my commitment to our neighbors and union siblings across the country.
