John,
Jane Fonda here. Today, The Nation reported on an important conversation I had during Climate Week about my work with the PAC. I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it and to share some thoughts with you.
I’ve dedicated the rest of my life to this crucial movement, and I couldn’t be happier to count you as an ally in this work. As we rally our people-power to take to the streets and vote out fossil fuel allies, I find myself becoming more hopeful with each passing week. And thanks to your ongoing support of the Jane Fonda Climate PAC, I’m having a ball electing climate champions up and down the ballot across the country.
For far too long, the fossil fuel industry has maintained a stranglehold on our political system, and during the 2020 election, they poured in more than $139 million to keep their political allies in offices, setting back key climate progress, and hampering key legislation on climate at every level of government.
That’s why the Jane Fonda Climate PAC is committed to electing leaders who are not beholden to the influence of Big Oil and other corporate polluters. It won’t happen overnight, but I know that together, we can grow to be a $100 million PAC and continue to elect federal and state legislators, city councilors, county commissioners, mayors, and more who are willing to fight for a livable future for all of us.
Will you contribute $10 today to join our movement to keep up our strong momentum and elect even more climate champions?

Let’s fight like hell together,
Jane Fonda
