You probably heard by now that Speaker Kevin McCarthy was fired yesterday on a vote of 216-210, the first time that has happened in our country’s history. 

Republicans are in disarray — they can’t control the far-right arm of their party, and it’s getting bigger every day. 

It’s terrifying that the extremists in the House are holding our government hostage, and now it’s not clear what’s going to happen next. 

The only thing that is clear is this: Republicans have proven they’re not fit to hold the majority. It’s time we kick them out.
