Dear John,

In case you missed it, today is officially National Taco Day. And in true taco spirit, we want to take a moment to celebrate the things that bring people together:

Tacos and margs.
Cookies and milk.  
Swifties and Sunday Night Football.

In all seriousness, community means a lot to me and it’s something I’ve spent my whole life fighting to protect. Every day that I get up I go to bat for the people of Virginia Beach - growing up here I know what a strong and united community we have and how far we can go when we work together. 

With just a little over a month left until the election, I hope you’ll join me in my fight for education, women’s rights and all the things that make Virginia Beach a place proud to call home.
