Yesterday proved once again that the GOP is incapable of governing. Instead of representing the interests of the people, hard-right Republicans are focused on personal vendettas by ousting McCarthy as House Speaker.

It took 15 roll call votes to elect McCarthy — then he was removed not even 9 months later. Now, the House will come to a standstill until another Speaker is chosen — this is chaos.

McCarthy’s outsing shows us that the farthest right members of the party have taken over. Extreme MAGA Republicans don’t care for the consequences as long as they get what they want.
