For more than a week, Matt Gaetz and Kevin McCarthy have been holding up the regular business of governing in Congress while American taxpayers are footing the bill for millions of dollars. And while we’re not mad to see McCarthy ousted as Speaker — who knows how long it will be before the House can elect a new one, and actually get back to work.
The US House of Representatives has devolved into a complete clown parade with the GOP at the helm — while millions of Americans are suffering. As long as the GOP is in control of the house, we will continue to face shutdowns, political stunts, and in-fighting.
We know what we have to do in 2024: take back control of the house by flipping five Congressional seats.
