Economic Democracy Weekly

Today’s Economic Democracy Weekly looks at the relationship between power-building and the economy. First, we offer the second article in our series on “Building Power, Fighting Displacement: Stories from Asian Pacific America,” featuring organizing in San Francisco’s Chinatown. That’s followed by an article exploring the growing movement of social justice philanthropy and another that looks at how to apply those principles to developing a democratic economy. Finally, we look at how a foundation is teaming with a community development financial institution to enable community groups to build power and access federal funding.
