There is no question that having a Speaker of the House of Representatives from the Central Valley was good for everyone in our area, regardless of partisanship. With Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House, we had the most powerful member of Congress who truly understands what life is like in the Valley -- the needs of our agriculture and farms, water, housing, and jobs, and how historically we have been a neglected part of California.

Unfortunately, career Congressman Jim Costa voted to remove Kevin McCarthy as Speaker and chose partisanship and chaos over the people he represents. Jim Costa cast a horrible vote for our Central Valley.

Now it's time to REMOVE Jim Costa.
