We can only solve the environmental and climate issues of our day if we broaden the movement. We are delighted to shine the light on ten social justice and/or youth-focused organizations at this year's Evening for the Environment on Thursday, October 26. We are all stronger when we work together on climate solutions rooted in science and social justice.

The program, kicking off at 7 PM, will feature a dynamic discussion between Penobscot Nation Ambassador Maulian Bryant and Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson.

Ambassador Bryant will talk with Dr. Johnson about her insights as a policy expert and marine biologist as presented in her various works. Dr. Johnson co-edited the bestselling climate anthology All We Can Save, co-created the Spotify/Gimlet climate solutions podcast How to Save a Planet, and co-authored the Blue New Deal, a roadmap for including the ocean in climate policy. She is the author of the forthcoming book What If We Get it Right?
