Notice of Public Meeting
The Happy Valley Water Improvement and Service District of Osmond, Wyoming will conduct a public meeting at 7:00pm, local time, on October 19, 2023, in the Afton Town Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following projects. Happy Valley Well Project to provide a secondary source of water.
At the meeting the Happy Valley Water Improvement and Service District will present the design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of improvement and the plan for funding and improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and funding plan can also be reviewed at Sunrise Engineering. Ryan Erickson (307)885-8500.
Based on current cost estimates the Happy Valley Water Improvement and Service District plans to borrow $150,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. Increased user fees will repay the loan. The average rate increase is estimated to be $17.00/month per user to repay the loan. Loan terms will be 2.5% interest rate and 24 years.
