Did you know that health risks for children are more severe the younger the child? That’s why pediatric care is a critical part of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)’s mission.
Without access to the pediatric care they need, most critically ill children die. Often, this is because children and their families cannot access care or because clinical staff do not have access to the appropriate diagnostic tools or treatments needed to care for the child, especially in overcrowded and understaffed units.
This email was sent from the U.S. section of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and exclusion from health care.
