After MAGA extremists held our government hostage under threat of a shutdown, they’ve now turned the role of Speaker of the House into a partisan popularity contest. This is not what Congress should look like. Where are the adults in the room?
I’m running for Congress because we need representation capable of getting results. We need a Congress that can function beyond the shackles of division and chaos. Whether it’s getting members of the Texas GOP to sign on for Medicaid expansion or convincing conservative State Senators to protect our HIV patients, I’ve already done the hard work of overcoming dysfunction in government for the common good.
