Despite the chaos we've seen from Congressional Republicans, we've managed to accomplish two important things:

First, we successfully averted a government shutdown – while rejecting House Republicans’ extreme demands. Our work isn’t done, but this proves that fair, bipartisan deals are possible when Congress puts the DC games aside and prioritizes working families.

And secondly, we hit our end-of-quarter fundraising goal – and that’s thanks to supporters like you! It means a lot to me when folks pitch in a few bucks to help me continue working for you in the Senate. It’s my goal to bring the voice of Coloradans to DC and to fight for the issues you care about most. Hitting this goal means we have the resources to continue that mission.

It’s been a long, busy few days — but that’s the job I signed up for, and I’m more energized than ever to keep fighting for you.
