I have some important updates on CREW’s lawsuit against Donald Trump in Colorado.

First, the court set October 30th as the hearing date. That will be an evidentiary hearing, where we will be calling witnesses and presenting evidence.

We also asked the court to adopt a protective order to make sure everyone can freely participate in the case and for the safety of the plaintiffs, defendants and witnesses, and our counsel and staff. The court agreed.

That means that our communications about the case are going to be limited while the case is pending, and Trump’s should be as well.

We wanted to let you know about this positive step, and assure you that our work on the case is continuing, even if you hear a little bit less from us about it over the next few weeks.

We’ll still be able to give you some updates in the case, and fill you in on our other work fighting corruption in Washington, demanding transparency from the government and tracking corporate support for candidates who advance the Big Lie.

Since the moment we filed our 14th Amendment lawsuit, we've been ready to make our case in court. We’re looking forward to doing just that.
