John, Kevin McCarthy's inability to control his party has directly harmed millions of vulnerable families and workers. He nearly allowed the most far-right in his party to drive our nation straight into a shutdown.

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised at McCarthy's spinelessness. He was just ousted as Speaker of the House as a result of caving to MAGA extremists to finally win the Speakership in January after fourteen rounds of voting. It's abundantly clear who really holds the power in McCarthy's party.

John, this is why, more than ever, we need to elect more progressive Democrats to take on far-right extremists.

McCarthy has proven that he is too weak to stand up against the most outrageous demands that his party members make – even if it means that millions of families could lose food assistance, children will lose access to preschool and civil servants will be denied the paychecks they depend on.

You deserve better, John – and that's exactly what I'm fighting for in my campaign for the U.S. Senate. So please, before this crisis spirals further out of control: 

Will you chip in ASAP now to help me fight back against McCarthy, McConnell and the toxic far-right extremism that has taken root in their party?
