The Moore Wright Group staff
The Moore Wright Group (TMWG) is taking a holistic approach to providing stability and inspiring hope to Grays Harbor County and communities across Washington. ?
The Moore Wright Group distribution center
At its core, TMWG is a nonprofit specializing in the distribution of essential items to help break the cycle of poverty, abuse and abandonment. During the pandemic, the organization received a COVID relief grant from Commerce and became a disaster distribution center, significantly increasing their potential community impact.
In 2022, TMWG distributed items to every county in Washington, locations across the U.S. and around the world. They served nearly 1.8 million people worldwide last year.
According to Executive Director Tanikka Watford, the connection to Commerce has led to funding opportunities and other essential partnerships, allowing them to diversify and be intentional about services in a community that has a lot of needs.
From distribution and recovery services to workforce development, affordable housing and community events, TMWG is finding ways to help Washington communities thrive.
