Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointments in his administration

Karina Garcia will serve as a Member on the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board.* Garcia is the owner of two local businesses and the President of A&A Transportation 1 Inc., a growing company in the construction industry. She currently serves as the first female President & CEO of the Aurora Regional Hispanic Chamber of Commerce/International Progressive Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is also President of the International Women of Influence. She was a contributing author of Inspiring Latinas Vol. 1. and served as a volunteer with World Relief and Accion Latina, where she taught U.S. residents the Constitution. She attended DePaul University for training in the immigration procedure, and has received several recognitions from local governments, school districts, and other non-profit organizations for her leadership in the community. Garcia sat on the advisory board of the Interfaith Food Pantry and was a board member of the AHCC, Aurora Puerto Rican Council, and Family Shelter Services. She is currently on the board of the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry, the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity, the Alive Center, the APS Training Institute, and Why Women Building Matters. She is a committee member of the Miss Fiestas Patrias DuPage. Garcia received a degree from the College of DuPage.

Elizbeth Stuck will serve as a Member on the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board.* Stuck has over eleven years of experience working in the manufacturing sector, covering topics ranging from policy recommendations at the federal level to manufacturing workforce development programs and solutions. Stuck currently serves as the Vice President for MxD Learn, a workforce development program that helps to build manufacturing talent as early as high school. In this role, she has secured over $15 million in grant funding over the last four years from philanthropic and governmental agency partners to build and scale workforce solutions nationally. Previously, Stuck was the Senior Director of MxD Workforce Development Program and the Director of Partner Engagement. She also has experience in the U.S. Department of Commerce as the Deputy Director of the Office of Advisory Committees and Industry Outreach. Stuck received a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.
