Dear Students and Families,
I am writing to encourage exceptional high school students to apply to United States Service Academies and embark on a journey that combines academic excellence, leadership training, and a chance to serve our great nation. A select number of students can receive a Service Academy Nomination through my office, and I strongly encourage you to submit your materials.
Completed applications must be received in my office by October 13, 2023, to be considered for a nomination. Incomplete applications will not be accepted after that date.
For more information and full details, please visit my website linked here.
Service Academies, including the United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, United States Air Force Academy, and United States Coast Guard Academy, offer a unique and comprehensive education that emphasizes leadership, discipline, and honor. Graduates from these institutions not only earn a top-tier education but also commission as officers in the U.S. Armed Forces, setting the stage for successful careers and unparalleled life experiences.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my U.S. Service Academy Nominations Coordinator, Robert Hansen, at (414) 297-1140. Robert will be happy to assist you however he is able.
The process of applying for a Service Academy nomination through my office is very competitive. As a result, it is always possible that highly qualified candidates will not be awarded a nomination. I urge you to take time to compile a strong application file that highlights your very best work. You should also consider alternative options for military service, including Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and other officer selection programs.
Your Friend,
Gwen Moore
